Kwan-I Lee

Kwan-I Lee is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in authentication and security frameworks. Currently employed at Descript since August 2023, Kwan-I previously worked as an Engineering Manager at Robinhood from January 2021 to July 2023, where Kwan-I established the Authentication Platform team and led the successful implementation of WebAuthn (Passkeys). Prior to that, Kwan-I served as a Staff Software Engineer at Robinhood, migrating critical authentication services to Kubernetes. Kwan-I's experience includes a role as Tech Lead at Airbnb, where Kwan-I rebuilt the authentication infrastructure, and positions at Walmart eCommerce and Oracle, focusing on search systems and account management solutions. Kwan-I's educational background includes a Master's degree in Computer Science from Columbia Engineering and a Bachelor's degree from National Taiwan University.
