Vanessa Schneider

Vanessa Schneider is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. As Head of Marketing at Descript from June 2024 to April 2025, Vanessa guided go-to-market campaigns and developed community education initiatives. Prior to this, Vanessa served as Head of Brand and Director of Host Community at Airbnb from April 2019 to May 2024, focusing on host engagement and retention strategies. Vanessa also led marketing efforts at Clara Labs, successfully launching its scheduling service, and advised marketing strategies for Luna On-Demand Physical Therapy. As VP of Marketing at One Medical Group from August 2014 to December 2017, Vanessa restructured the marketing organization to align with company goals. Vanessa holds a BA in English with a focus on Creative Writing from Columbia University, where involvement included the Columbia University Marching Band and Alpha Delta Phi.
