Russell Banz is the current VP Product at Deseret Digital Media. Russell was previously with Bonneville International from April 2002 to December 2009 where they successfully developed strategies for the company to compete in the changing media landscape. This included emerging revenue efforts, digital strategy, and new distribution platforms for communications company with properties across the United States.

Russell drovedigital revenues from less than $1 million to more than $14 million annually and provided sales training, direction, and new business opportunities. Bonneville digital products included KSL.com, KTAR.com, WTOP.com, MyNorthWest.com, and many others on a variety of platforms (desktop, mobile, apps, streaming, podcasts, video, social, etc.). This included a wide variety of news, music, and sports brands and products. Russell also provided a wide array of corporate technology, software, and business solutions (CMS, hosting, analytics, development resources, rights management, sales training, etc.).

Banz negotiated and managed a wide variety of business, partner and vendor relations and contracts. Russell also helped advance digital radio across the automobile industry and streaming audio for broadcasters across the internet. Russell continued to oversee KSL.com on local level.

Russell Banz attended Brigham Young University and received a Bachelor of Science in Business - Marketing, cum laude. Russell then attended the University of Utah and received a Master of Business Administration.

Russell Banz works with Lori Pugh - Senior Director HR, Jeff Barton - CFO, and Eric Bright - VP eCommerce. Russell Banz reports to Chris Lee, President.
