Vance Huntley was elected to the board in 2017. He is the Treasury Manager for Intermountain Power Agency (IPA). Prior to his employment at IPA, he was an Internal Auditor with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Chief Financial Officer with Xcel Fitness, and Audit Manager with Deloitte & Touche, LLP. Vance volunteered as a member of Deseret First Credit Union’s Supervisory Committee from 2008-2017, and he was serving as chairman of that committee at the time of his election to the board. He enjoyed the opportunity to serve on the Supervisory Committee and work with the DFCU Board and Management on such issues as risk analysis, financial stability, and improving the internal audit function.
Vance holds a Masters of Accounting/Information Systems degree from Brigham Young University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He lives in Davis County with his wife and five children and loves any opportunity to enjoy outdoor recreational activities. As a member of DFCU, Vance believes strongly in the benefits it can provide to its members and their families. He strives to ensure DFCU continues to offer the services that will benefit all its members and their variety of financial needs.
