James T.

James T. is a seasoned global business executive with more than 30 years of experience guiding early and growth-stage companies through team building, technical and commercial development, financings, and M&A. They serve as Managing Director of Ithaca Marine (2018–Present) and as Chairman of the Board of Stamford Health (2018–Present), and they were a board member of Desert Control from 2023 to 2025. They are Managing Partner of Thomas Maritime (2018–Present) and previously co-founded and were a partner at Thomas, McNerney & Partners (2001–2022), as well as a partner at Warburg Pincus (1989–2000). They earned an MSc in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (1982–1983) and a B.Sc. in Finance and Economics from The Wharton School (1978–1982).
