Moamen Younis

Moamen Younis has extensive experience in the corporate world, having held various roles since 2003. Moamen began their career as Head of IT - West Region at Asiacell Communications PJSC, where they managed and supervised all activities related to the IT department in the west area. Moamen then moved to Algurg Engineering Consultant as an IT & Low Current Infrastructure Engineer, where they worked on Low current design for residential, commercial, hotel, hospitals and other large scale projects. In 2008, they joined OMC Middle East LLC as a Senior Design and Estimation Engineer. From 2009 to 2015, Moamen Younis held two positions at Dubai Electricity & Water Authority - DEWA, first as Manager - Portfolio Operation and then as Manager - Technical Coordination. During this period, they monitored, reviewed, and co-ordinated operational functions, planned and defined corporate objectives, and managed all activities associated with the roll-out of DEWA's new ventures. In 2015, they worked as an Operations and Strategy Consultant at AL FAKHAMAH TOBACCO FZ-LLC, where they developed and implemented the Group governance system and operational policies and procedures. Moamen then moved to Desert Control as Director Of Operations. Currently, Moamen Younis is General Manager at Mawarid Desert Control LLC, where they are responsible for the distribution and service deo of Desert Control's Liquid Natural Clay across the Middle East. Moamen is also focused on sustainable ecosystem management for agriculture, forestry, afforestation, and landscaping.

Moamen Younis attended Mosul University from 1999 to 2003, where they earned a Bsc in Computer Engineering.
