Jack Biggs

Jack Biggs, CFA has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Jack is currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Desert Financial Credit Union since November 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President of Finance from January 2020 to November 2021, and Assistant Vice President of Finance from November 2016 to January 2020 at the same organization.

Before joining Desert Financial Credit Union, Jack worked at Think Mutual Bank where they served as the Vice President of Finance and Investments from October 2003 to December 2013. Jack also gained valuable experience at FHLB Des Moines, where they held various positions in Treasury, Financial Risk, and Sales from March 1999 to October 2003.

Additionally, Jack worked as an Examiner at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago from September 1997 to March 1999. Jack began their career at Norwest Mortgage (Wells Fargo Mortgage) as an Analyst in Secondary Marketing from September 1996 to September 1997.

Jack Biggs, CFA has a strong education background in economics. Jack earned their M.S. in Economics from Iowa State University, where they attended from 1994 to 1996. Prior to that, they obtained their B.A. in Economics from Simpson College, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. Before their college education, Jack attended Atlantic High School. In addition, Jack obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification in 2002 from the CFA Institute.
