Satheesh Soundararajan has a diverse work experience in credit risk management and portfolio acquisitions. Satheesh began their career at American Express in 1998 as a Manager in Risk & Info Mgmt before moving up to become a Senior Manager in Risk Mgmt in 2006. At American Express, they were responsible for credit risk management of charge and lending card portfolios, as well as risk strategy development and implementation.
In 2013, Satheesh joined JPMorgan Chase & Co. as a Vice President where they managed credit risk and portfolio strategies for Chase Bank's Direct Auto Lending. Satheesh achieved significant growth in loan originations by implementing robust risk strategies and also played a key role in creating innovative acquisition programs.
Currently, Satheesh is working as the Senior Director of Credit Risk Management & Portfolio Acquisitions at Desert Financial Credit Union. Satheesh oversees credit risk management for all lending portfolios and develops and manages credit risk policies. Satheesh ensures loan acquisitions adhere to risk appetite and that portfolios perform according to expectations.

Satheesh Soundararajan holds a Master's degree in Information Technology from Arizona State University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Madras.
