Stacey Thorn, M.S CCC SLP, is an experienced Speech Language Pathologist currently working at Desert Valley Pediatric Therapy since May 2017. Previously, Stacey completed a graduate student internship with Paradise Valley Unified School District, focusing on lesson planning, goal creation, evaluations, and IEP meetings for children with various speech and language challenges. Additional internship experiences include The Clubhouse Innovative Therapy Center and several clinical rotations at Arizona State University, where Stacey engaged in diagnostics and treatment for preschoolers and patients in acute care settings. Stacey holds a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Founded by therapists, Desert Valley Pediatric Therapy is located in the Ahwatukee Foothills of Phoenix, Arizona. We offer a variety of services and programs to children with developmental delays, as well as to those who need a little extra help to realize their full capabilities. We believe in treating the 'whole' child, educating caregivers and team members, and empowering the family. We are committed to helping ALL children achieve their greatest potential. Desert Valley Pediatric Therapy is dedicated to providing families with the tools they need to improve their children's quality of life in their home, school, and community. We provide clinic and home-based speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy valley wide. Our therapists are licensed and highly skilled. Their expertise comes from years of experience and participation in workshops, conferences, and seminars, which allows them to remain educated in the most current therapeutic strategies. Desert Valley Pediatric Therapy provides evaluation, ongoing assessment, and therapy services to children ages birth to young adult. Our therapists work together with families to foster involvement in therapy and provide continuous education. This collaboration maximizes the effectiveness of treatment and strategies provided by our therapists. We promote communication between the child's school, home, and other therapists, which increases the benefits of everyone's efforts.
