Theodoros Tsakiris

Theodoros Tsakiris is an experienced Oil & Gas risk analyst and a multilingual member of the Board at DESFA SA – Hellenic Gas Transmission System Operator since 2019. They currently serve as an Associate Professor for Energy Policy and Geopolitics at the University of Nicosia. Dr. Tsakiris has held significant roles in various organizations, including a position as a member of the Board of Directors for the Cyprus Hydrocarbons Company from 2014 to 2015, and as a Visiting Professor for Energy Geopolitics at ESCP Europe from 2018 to 2020. They earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in International Political Economy and Strategic Studies from Panteion University of Athens and a Master of Arts (M.A.) in International Security from Georgetown University, both with honors.
