Patrick Guthrie

Patrick Guthrie has a comprehensive work experience in the field of architecture and preservation. Patrick started their career as a Historical Architect with the National Park Service, documenting structures in Arizona and Washington D.C. From 1991 to 1995, they worked with the National Park Service in Boston, evaluating conditions on historic structures throughout New England, New York, and northern New Jersey. In 1995, they joined the Massachusetts Historical Commission as a Grants Coordinator, administering preservation planning and construction grant projects. Patrick then transitioned to various architecture firms, starting as an Architectural Designer at Claude Menders Architects from 1997 to 2006. Patrick worked as a Project Designer at Design Associates Inc. in 2006 before moving on to Menders, Torrey & Spencer, Inc. in 2007 as a Project Architect. From 2013 to 2016, they worked at Spencer & Vogt Group Inc. as a Project Architect. Currently, Patrick Guthrie is serving as the President of Design Associates Inc. starting from January 2022.

Patrick Guthrie attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1987 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree in the field of study in Architecture.
