Catherine Johnson

Catherine Johnson, AIA, ACLA, NCARB, is a seasoned architecture professional with extensive experience in both academia and practice. Currently serving as a Founding Member of the University of Oregon College of Design's Interior Architecture Advisory Council since March 2021, Catherine has also held roles as a Founding Partner and CEO at Design, Bitches since November 2009. Previously, Catherine was a Walsh Distinguished Visiting Professor at the University of Oregon College of Design in late 2016 and has worked as a consulting Architect, Design Director, Senior Project Architect, and Project Designer/Project Manager at Bestor Architecture from January 2005 to August 2013. Earlier career experience includes a position as Job Captain at McCall Design Group from October 1998 to August 2001. Catherine holds a Master of Architecture (MARCH) from SCI-Arc (2004) and a Bachelor of Interior Architecture (BIARC) from the University of Oregon College of Design (1998).
