Justin Morande

Thomas J. Watson Fellow at Watson Foundation

Justin Morande is a Thomas J. Watson Fellow at Watson Foundation, engaging in a year-long project titled "Place and Placelessness: Architecture at a Crossroads," which explores the influence of architecture on place-based identity across Nepal, Chile, and Japan. Previous experiences include roles as an Alumnus Leader for the Mountain Design Assembly, a Woodturner apprentice at Artistic Woodturning, a Fabrication Studio Technician at Middlebury College, and a Lead Carpenter with Habitat for Humanity Addison County. Justin has a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Middlebury College and is currently pursuing a Master of Architecture at Yale University, set to graduate in 2027.
