Mary Sherman

Mary Sherman is currently the Midwest Regional Sales Manager at Design Force Marketing. Prior to this, they were the Director of Events & Programs at The Chamber of Commerce Grand Haven, Spring Lake, Ferrysburg from July 2015 to September 2019. In this role, Mary managed and executed large scale events from start to finish, including the Grand Haven Art Festival, Coast Guard Craft Fair and Jingle Bell Parade. Mary also ran the Chamber's internship program and managed two farmers markets, the Grand Haven Farmers Market and the Spring Lake Farm & Garden Market. Mary was responsible for selling sponsorships, recruiting vendors and coordinating marketing for these events and programs.

From May 2013 to August 2013, Mary interned at Clear Channel Outdoor Global in their marketing and promotions department, helping run all of Clear Channel's events, such as Birthday Bash and Taste of Grand Rapids. In August 2014, they left Simply Posh Marketing to join Werner & Sons Roofing and LeafGuard of West Michigan as their Administrative and Marketing Assistant where they stayed until July 2015. From October 2013 to March 2014, Mary also worked as a Front Desk Agent at Hilton Hotels Worldwide.

Mary Sherman has a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Business from Grand Valley State University and a Nonprofit Leadership Graduate Certificate from Grand Valley State University. Mary also has a High School Diploma from Grand Haven High School.
