Wava Carpenter

Wava Carpenter is a seasoned professional in the fields of design and curation, currently serving as Founder of Anava Projects since November 2019. With extensive experience in editorial and curatorial roles, Wava holds positions including Editor In Chief and Curatorial Director at Design Miami/ since June 2019, and Founding Curator & Editor at PAMONO since June 2014. Previous notable positions include Director of Content and Editor in Chief at Pamono, Acting Director and Associate Director at Design Miami/, and Creative Partner at AMBRA MEDDA OFFICE LIMITED. Wava's early career includes serving as a Contemporary Design Curatorial Fellow at Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, and as an Art & Design Studies Instructor at Parsons School of Design. Wava earned a MA in History of Design and Decorative Arts from Parsons School of Design - The New School.
