Deborah Norris is a highly experienced professional in the fields of mechanical engineering and product design, currently serving as Development Manager at Design + Industry since January 2024. Prior to this role, Deborah held various positions at Cambridge Design Partnership from October 2019 to January 2024, including Senior Consultant Medical Devices and Consultant Healthcare Devices Engineer. Deborah also worked as Senior Product Design Engineer at Bespak Innovation Centre between June 2013 and October 2019 and was Research & Development Manager at Bedfont Scientific from March 2010 to May 2013. Earlier experience includes being a Mechanical Design Engineer at Acrobot Ltd. and a Design Engineer at QinetiQ, where Deborah contributed significantly to projects involving surgical instrumentation and rocket systems. Deborah Norris holds a BEng(Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, awarded in 1999.
