Gourav Bhomaj

Gourav Bhomaj is an experienced industrial engineer with a robust background in optimizing manufacturing processes and layouts. Currently employed at Design Systems, Inc. since February 2017, Gourav has improved plant facilities through field studies and AutoCAD modifications, while implementing production launch requirements and reducing cycle times. Prior experience as an industrial engineering consultant at UMAS Pvt. Ltd. involved leading cost reduction projects, conducting thorough process mapping and capacity analysis, and enhancing labor productivity through various methodologies, including Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen. Gourav holds a Master's Degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from Purdue University and a Bachelor's Degree in Production Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
