Jim Kerr

Jim Kerr has over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Jim began their career in 1991 as a Senior Analytical Chemist at 3M Pharmaceuticals. In 1998, they moved to Dura Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Manager of Analytical Laboratory Operations. In 2001, they became Associate Director of Pharmaceutical Development at Chugai Pharma USA. In 2006, they joined CovX as Senior Director of Analytical Science and then Director of Analytical Science. In 2009, they moved to Pfizer as Senior Director of CovX Operations and Senior Director of CovX Analytical Sciences. In 2013, they started their own consulting firm, Kerr CMC Consulting, LLC, as Principal Consultant and also joined Auspex Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as Executive Director CMC. In 2015, they moved to Teva Pharmaceuticals as Executive Director of CMC Manufacturing. In 2017, they joined Alterity Therapeutics as Vice President CMC. Currently, they are Vice President of Product Development at Design Therapeutics.

Jim Kerr attended the University of Minnesota Duluth from 1986 to 1991.
