Robert Powers

Robert Powers has a diverse work experience spanning across different industries and roles. Robert began their career as a 14T Enhanced PATRIOT Missile Systems Operator/Maintainer in the US Army in 2003 and thereafter worked with Richland College as a Student Lab Technician from 2007 to 2011. After that, they worked as an Independent Designer and Visual Artist from 2007 to 2015. In 2011, they joined Canteen, NA, in the role of Regional Sales Account Manager-Executive Beverage Service, where they worked until 2015. Robert also volunteered as an English Teacher for A New Day Cambodia from 2013 to 2014. Robert worked with Infinitude Creative Group from 2015 to 2023, first as a Senior Digital Artist, then as a Learning Experience Designer, and later as a Contractor. Robert worked with Bubo Learning Design, LLC, from 2018 to 2023, performing various roles such as Contractor, LX Designer, Creative Director of LX Design, and Senior Consultant. Robert is currently the Chief Executive Officer of their own company, Design with Powers, LLC.

Robert Powers earned an Associate in Arts/Liberal Arts degree in AAS.GM.EDUC/DESIGN Interactive Simulation & Game Technology from Dallas College in 2010. Robert then enrolled in Texas A&M University-Commerce in 2011 to study Communication Design but did not complete a degree. From 2015-2017, Robert pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Art & Performance Visual Arts at The University of Texas at Dallas.
