Designers Group is a leading interior design and architectural firm that prides itself on its awe-inspiring portfolio which showcases brand-strengthening designs that infuse a sense of luxury, grace, comfort, style and innovation into even the most simplest of spaces. Having mastered the art of creating timeless ambiences of grandeur delicately blended with warmth to delight even the most critical eye, Designers Group is recognised throughout the industry for its commitment to excellence in hospitality design.
Since its inception in 1987, the firm has grown from re-modelling kitchens and bathrooms to setting new standards for luxury, comfort and innovation in hospitality interior design for a number of elite clients, including the Taj Group of Hotels, ITC Welcome Group, Hyatt Regency – Mumbai and many more.
The firm’s depth of experience and detailed industry knowledge, coupled with its zest for incorporating new influences in technology and sustainability, enable it to identify and implement international interior design trends that push the aesthetic envelope, lending each of their projects a unique, inspired identity that shatters all preconceived notions of standardisation and revolutionises the practice of hospitality design.
For the last 27 years, the firm's design professionals remain keenly attuned to the pulse of changing industry trends and are in sync with today's rapidly evolving ideas of sophisticated living, design, comfort and luxury. The young and talented team at Designers Group is guided by the creativity and experience of their principle founders, Partner & Chief Architect Mr. Khozema Chitalwala and Principal Designer Mrs. Sujata Chitalwala, and continuously strive to utilise simple straight-line design, materials, colours, textures and forms, in a smart and innovative way to create aesthetic, contemporary interior lifestyle spaces.
Designers Group offers its clientele a comprehensive package of interior design and architectural services, getting involved in every stage of a project right from planning through to its completion. With each assignment, the firm aims not only to create scintillating interiors that add value, raise standards and are both functional and look beautiful, but also interiors that stand testament to man's imagination and creativity. Essentially, the organisation transforms functionally ordinary to sheer beauty while meeting a client’s budget, timelines and most importantly … vision.
In spite of having created some of the most aesthetically unique, eclectic and downright spectacular interior designs for several multi-national hospitality chains, the firm still maintains that their most remarkable achievement lies in the simple fact that their customers are never a one-time job … they keep coming back for more.
