Justin Cherry

Justin Cherry is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC). Currently serving as a Senior Manager at Acquia, Justin collaborates closely with the CISO to oversee GRC activities, manage external assessments, client audits, and vendor risks, while also engaging in policy reviews and security assurance for clients. Justin's role at the Georgia Institute of Technology involves assisting in the growth of the OMS-Cybersecurity Program as an Assistant Head Instructional Assistant. As the owner of The Compliance Working Group, Justin provides executive consulting services focused on compliance execution strategies. Previous positions include Principal and Senior Compliance Auditor at Pegasystems, Compliance Auditor at Micro Focus, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and HP, where Justin developed risk assessment programs for various compliance frameworks. Justin holds a Master's degree in Cyber Security from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Technology from Purdue University.
