Theresa Zajicek

Theresa Zajicek has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and industries. Theresa currently holds the position of Director of Accounting at Acquia since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Widen as an International Controller from January 2021 to October 2021, and as a Global Accounting Manager from September 2018 to January 2021.

From 2005 to 2018, Zajicek operated their own business, Zajicek Accounting Services, as an Independent Consultant. During this time, they specialized in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, with proficiency in JDEdwards and SAP ERP systems.

From 2000 to 2005, Zajicek held various roles at ABS Global, including Controller for the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, and later as an Accounting Manager for the U.S. and Canada. Theresa oversaw financial functions and accounting consolidations for the Bovine Genetics Division worldwide.

Their earlier experience includes a role as a Consultant at Grant Thornton LLP from 1999 to 2000, a Financial Analyst at U.S. Cellular from 1996 to 1999, and a Staff Accountant at BellSouth Cellular Corporation from 1994 to 1996.

Zajicek began their career as an Inventory/Procurement Staff Accountant at Honeywell, Inc. in 1993.

Theresa Zajicek completed their Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting at the University of St. Thomas from 1989 to 1993. Theresa also holds a certification as a Certified Public Accountant, which is currently inactive, obtained from the Wisconsin Department of Regulation and Licensing.
