Kiersten Miller

Kiersten Miller is a Lead Product Designer at Instructure, focusing on the development of the Canvas Career product, which is designed to enhance workforce-aligned education using AI. Prior experience includes Senior Product Designer roles at Fuzzy and Newsela, where contributions involved leading design initiatives and enhancing educational tools for K–12 environments. Earlier positions at Starbucks included Senior Digital Designer, overseeing the creation and maintenance of a digital marketing design system, and Creative Director for the Women's Impact Network. With a background that includes significant roles at Essence and Oracle, Kiersten Miller possesses a strong foundation in digital design and creative direction, complemented by a BA in Design Studies from the University of Washington. Currently, Kiersten serves as a Student Mentor at Designlab, offering guidance and feedback to aspiring designers.
