Ted Booth has over 25 years of work experience in the engineering field. Ted began their career in 1994 as a Member Engineer at Lockheed Martin Advanced Technology Laboratories, where they developed and simulated parameterized IP targeted to Xilinx FPGAs, created software in C for a DSP auto-coding tool, and designed a VHDL exporter for a schematic capture tool. In 2000, they moved to Motorola as a Senior Staff Design Engineer, where they led the development and support of VHDL code for a BPON MAC, and implemented DSP algorithms in MATLAB for use in CATV transport networks. From 2003 to 2014, they were an Adjunct Professor at Temple University's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, where they taught the "Introduction to Digital Design and Verilog" course and advised students on thesis and career issues. Since 2006, they have been a Staff Design Engineer at Xilinx, and since 2014, they have been a Technical Lead FPGA Design & Support Engineer at DesignLinx.
Ted Booth received a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Arkansas, followed by a Master of Science (MS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from both the University of Arkansas and Temple University.
