Damien John Flaherty began their career in 2012 as a Mechanical Engineer at Verus. In 2014, they moved to Verus Precision Ltd as a Fixture Designer. In 2018, they joined DesignPro Automation as a Design Manager and Mechanical Designer.

Damien John Flaherty has a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical Engineering from 2011 to 2012 from the Institute of Technology, Sligo, a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical Engineering from 2010 to 2011 from the Limerick Institute of Technology, and attended the Institute of Technology, Tralee for Mechanical Engineering.
