Pierre-Olivier Samson

Pierre-Olivier Samson has worked at Desjardins since 2012. He holds a master’s degree in economics with a specialization in industrial concentration from the University of Connecticut. He also holds a master’s in business administration with a specialization in international management from Université Laval.

Pierre-Olivier has spent more than 10 years managing operations in large telecommunications companies. After joining Desjardins, he spent many years in the Property and Casualty sector where he led teams through major transformations driven by acquisitions and systems modernization. More recently, in the Wealth Management and Life and Health Insurance sector, he assumed the leadership of a team overseeing the performance of operations.

Pierre-Olivier is known for his capacity to combine his operations acumen with strategic thinking, enabling him to build and lead high-performing teams.
