Altamash Syed

Altamash Syed is an experienced professional in the insurance and financial services sector, currently serving as Agency Principal at Desjardins since April 2009, where Altamash founded and manages a successful agency. Additionally, since September 2018, Altamash has been a Professor of Finance at the Pilon School of Business at Sheridan College, specializing in Corporate Finance. Altamash co-founded The Panacea Initiative from January 2015 to February 2020, aimed at facilitating skill and solution sharing. Prior experience includes serving as a Management Consultant for a leading firm, developing go-to-market strategies in the Chilean insurance and banking sectors, and various significant roles at State Farm between 2003 and 2009, including Manager of Finance, Planning & Analysis. Altamash holds an MBA from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Indiana University Bloomington.
