Renaud Emond

Renaud Emond is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Directeur Principal, Devises et Taux at Desjardins since December 2017. Previously, Renaud held the position of Head of FIC Canada at Société Générale from March 2014 to October 2016, overseeing sales management for futures and principal business, as well as trading for Canadian products including IRS, Repo, and funding. Additional roles include Managing Director and Treasurer at Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking from September 1998 to October 2016, and Portfolio Manager at Ministère des Finances from June 1993 to September 1997, where portfolio management for Fonds d'amortissement was conducted. Renaud Emond earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Université Laval between 1988 and 1993.
