Ron Smith

Ron Smith is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in agricultural banking and commercial finance. Currently serving as the Vice President of Agricultural Banking for South Western Ontario at Desjardins since January 2022, Ron has previously held significant positions, including Senior Account Manager Team Lead at CIBC from March 2015 to December 2021, where responsibilities included managing commercial banking and agricultural services in the Niagara Region. Additionally, Ron spent several years at BMO Financial Group as a Branch Manager from February 2008 to November 2014. Ron holds a degree from Brock University, earned between 1996 and 2000.
