Andrew Anselmo

Andrew Anselmo is a highly experienced engineer currently serving as Lead Principal Software Controls Engineer at Desktop Metal since November 2022. With a career spanning over two decades, Andrew has held significant roles at Clipboard Engineering as Principal Engineer, providing consulting services to government and private firms, and has expertise in systems architecture, data acquisition, human-machine interfaces, and sensor design. Previous positions include Principal Controls Engineer at Leading Edge Equipment Technologies, Director of Automation at BrightSpot Automation LLC, and Member of Technical Staff at Evergreen Solar, where Andrew contributed to key technologies in the photovoltaic manufacturing sector. Andrew holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University, alongside a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art.
