Christopher A. Schuh is the co-founder of Desktop Metal. Christopher was previously the department head and professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from October 2011 to January 2020. Prior to that, they were with Xtalic Corporation.

Christopher A. Schuh received a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Christopher then went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Materials Science and Engineering from Northwestern University.
