Jared Gaillard

Jared Gaillard has an extensive work experience spanning over three decades. Jared currently holds the position of Director of Software Engineering at Desktop Metal since February 2022. Prior to that, they were a Software Architect/Tech Lead at the same company from May 2018 to January 2022.

Before joining Desktop Metal, Jared worked at Charles River Development for almost a decade, where they served as a Technical Team Lead from June 2009 to April 2018. Jared also held the position of Director of Software Development at Implant Sciences Corp. from January 2008 to June 2009.

Earlier in their career, Jared was involved in various software engineering roles. Jared worked as a Software Guy at SpaceClaim from January 2006 to December 2007, as a Software Engineer at DAFCA in October-December 2005, and as a Principal Software Engineer at Mentor Graphics from June 2002 to September 2005. During their time at Mentor Graphics, they played a crucial role in the successful merger with Innoveda, where they worked as a Software Engineer from September 2000 to May 2002.

Jared's career began at Viewlogic Systems Inc. in November 1996, where they worked as a Software Engineer until September 2000. Prior to that, they gained experience as a Software Engineer at Dictaphone Corp from 1993 to 1996 and at Wentworth Laboratories from 1991 to August 1993.

Jared Gaillard pursued their higher education from 1985 to 1989 at the University of Connecticut, where they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
