Kevin Li

Kevin Li has a diverse work experience in the battery and manufacturing industry. Kevin started their career as a Quality Control Technician at Battery Engineering, Inc. in 1994, where they performed inspections and conducted product testing. From 1997 to 2008, Kevin worked at Electrochem Solutions, Inc. as a Process/Product Design Engineer, designing and fabricating tooling and fixtures for Li-SOCl2 batteries, as well as testing prototypes. Kevin then joined A123 Systems in 2008, initially as a Process Engineer, leading equipment implementation and improving production quality. Kevin later became an Equipment Engineer, managing equipment support and implementing preventive maintenance programs. Kevin worked at A123 Systems, LLC from 2013 to 2015 as an Equipment & Process Engineering Manager, responsible for managing equipment and process engineering. Currently, Kevin holds a position at Desktop Metal since 2015, where they have progressed from Director of Operations to Senior Director of Operations.

From 1994 to 1998, Kevin Li attended Northeastern University and completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
