Nathan Woodard

Nathan Woodard is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in advanced technology development and research. Currently serving as a Technical Fellow and Advanced Technology Developer at Desktop Metal since October 2016, Nathan has held various significant roles, including Technical Advisor at Silverside Detectors Inc. and Staff Scientist at Levant Power Corporation, where key contributions were made to high-speed servo-hydraulics. Prior experience includes positions at Beacon Power, where Nathan played a critical role in developing large grid power storage units, and co-founding Phasebridge Inc. as VP of Engineering. With a strong academic background, Nathan earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Atomic/Molecular Physics from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Cornell University.
