Benício Gontijo

Benício Gontijo has a diverse work experience that spans over 20 years. Benício most recently worked as the Chief Technology Officer at DESKTOP starting in February 2023. Before that, they held various senior management positions at Vivo (Telefônica Brasil) from 2006 to January 2023. In these roles, they were responsible for customer experience, salesforce projects, full stack transformation program, and operation and maintenance systems. Prior to Vivo, Benício worked at Stefanini Brasil as a system analyst from 2003 to 2006, at Synergia as a software engineer from 2001 to 2003, and at CONCERT Technologies as a junior system analyst from 2000 to 2001.

Benício Gontijo has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from HeadSpring, obtained in 2019. Benício also holds a Msc degree in Computer Science from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, earned from 2000 to 2003. Prior to that, they completed their Bsc degree in Computer Science from the same university, starting in 1996 and finishing in 2000. In terms of additional certifications, Benício obtained the OKR Certified Professional (OKRCP) certification from CertiProf in May 2021. Benício also holds certifications in Autoconhecimento e Gestão de Emoções from CrossKnowledge, Como Desenvolver sua Inteligência Emocional from LinkedIn, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft, and DevOps Essentials Professional Certificate (DEPC) from CertiProf, acquired between 2019 and 2022.
