Javier Araque Cruz is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sales and channel management across various organizations and countries in South America. Currently serving as Channel Director at Despegar since November 2015, Javier leads the strategy for physical sales channels, focusing on enhancing customer experience and driving growth in Chile, Colombia, Peru, and Argentina. Previously, Javier held the position of Sales & Distribution Director at Viajes Falabella, where operational strategies were implemented to improve efficiency across key markets. With a solid educational background including a degree in Business Administration from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and a specialization in Commercial Management and Marketing from Universidad de La Sabana, Javier is currently pursuing a Master's in Human Resource Management at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
