Lorena Iraizoz

Lorena Iraizoz serves as the Vice President of Tax at Despegar.com since May 2014, where key responsibilities include preparing the company for a successful IPO at NYSE and establishing the Regional Tax Department. Prior to this, Lorena held the position of Manager of Tax Services at Philip Morris International from November 2007 to April 2014, where prominent achievements include executing the Tax Department setup for the LA Region and developing a skilled team in international taxation. Lorena’s early career began at PricewaterhouseCoopers from January 2000 to August 2004, focusing on foundational aspects of International Taxation. Lorena Iraizoz holds a Master of Advanced Studies in International Taxation from the University of Lausanne - UNIL, as well as degrees in Accounting and Graduate Studies in Business Administration from the University of Buenos Aires.
