Tero Kiviniemi

Tero Kiviniemi is the current President & CEO at Destia Oy.

Tero has previously worked as the Executive Vice President of YIT Corporation, Deputy to CEO from January 2008 to June 2018. In this role, they were responsible for the development and management of YIT's construction business and construction projects.

From July 2014 to December 2017, they were the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Etera. In this role, they were responsible for the strategic development and management of the company.

From January 2015 to December 2016, they were a Board Member at the Confederation of Finnish Industries (EK). In this role, they were responsible for the development and management of Finnish industry.

From January 2015 to December 2016, they were also the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Rakennusteollisuus RT ry (The Confederation of Finnish Construction Industries). In this role, they were responsible for the strategic development and management of the construction industry in Finland.

Tero Kiviniemi's educational career includes completing an advanced management program at Harvard Business School, a national defence course, and an executive MBA at the Stockholm School of Economics. Tero also holds a master's degree in civil engineering from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan.
