Xavier Chua has a diverse and extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Xavier started their career in 2005 as a Banquet Operation Executive at Furama RiverFront. Xavier then moved on to Furama City Centre as an Assistant Banquet Operation Manager from 2009 to 2010. In 2010, they joined Carlton Hotel Singapore as a Catering Sales Manager until 2012. From 2012 to 2016, Xavier worked at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, first as an Events Manager, then as a Senior Events Manager, and finally as an Assistant Director of Sales. Since 2016, they have been with Destination Asia, where they held the positions of Senior Project Manager and currently serves as the Director of Meetings & Events Operations.
