Destination Augusta
Taylor Wood, PDM, currently serves as the Manager of Group Experiences and Manager of Group Business Development at Destination Augusta since October 2021. Previously, Taylor held the position of Sales Manager at Experience Columbia SC from March 2014 to October 2021, where responsibilities included assisting clients in finding ideal venues and attractions in Columbia, SC. Taylor's earlier experience includes roles as a Sales Associate and Special Events/Talent Intern, as well as a Leasing Agent and Phonothon Caller at various organizations. Taylor earned a degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management, specializing in Travel and Tourism Management, from Clemson University, further supported by a high school diploma from Lexington High School.

The Augusta Convention & Visitors Bureau DBA Destination Augusta is the official destination marketing organization for the city of Augusta. We focus on attracting leisure and meeting visitors, and fostering visitor product development to enhance the economic growth of the region.
