René Wong

René Wong has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Beginning in 1999, René worked as a Sr. Graphic Designer at Mesa Publishing Corporation. In 2003, they transitioned to Eureka! Media Group, where they held the role of Creative Director until 2010. At The University of Texas at El Paso, René served as the Director of Creative Services from 2010 to 2014, and later as the Director of Marketing and Strategic Communications until 2022. Currently, René is the Director of Marketing and Communications at Destination El Paso.

René Wong completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design at The University of Texas at El Paso. Following this, René pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General, also at The University of Texas at El Paso, which was completed between 2017 and 2018.
