Mia Laybourn Steiness

Mia Laybourn Steiness is an experienced professional in social media management and project coordination within the tourism sector. Currently serving as SoMe & Content Manager at Destination Fjordlandet since September 2020, Mia is responsible for enhancing the brand's presence on Facebook and Instagram and engaging with followers. Previous roles include acting as an external development consultant for the Danske Maddestinationer project, where Mia researched the tourism potential of local products, and serving as project coordinator for Nationalpark Skjoldungernes Land, managing partnership programs and educational tours. Additional experience includes being a practical coordinator at Professionshøjskolen Absalon and a marketing and event assistant at Cruise Copenhagen Network. Mia holds a master's degree in Service Systems Design from Aalborg University and a professional bachelor's degree in Leisure Management.
