Michael Drake has an extensive background in sales and management within the hotel and hospitality industry. Currently, as the Director of Sales at Destination Vancouver, he is responsible for overseeing the strategy for Meetings & Conventions markets. Prior to this role, he worked as the Associate Director of Group Sales at Sheraton & Westin Hotels in Toronto, where he managed a team selling in-bound into Toronto Metro Market Hotels. With experience at Hyatt Hotels and Park Hyatt Toronto, Michael has a strong background in global account management and sales. He also worked as a Sales Manager at Delta Chelsea Hotel, focusing on the Canadian Corporate Market. Michael holds a B.A in Political Science from McMaster University.
