Lene Wendelboe

Lene Wendelboe is an accomplished professional in the library and information sector, currently serving as the Head of Section at Det Kgl. Bibliotek | Royal Danish Library since October 2018, following a similar role at The Royal Library from November 2005 to October 2018. With prior experience as an Information Specialist and IT Consultant at Danmarks Natur- og Lægevidenskabelige Bibliotek, Lene has a strong background in systems librarianship, particularly with the Aleph back-end system and managing over 30 academic libraries. Educational credentials include multiple diplomas in leadership from Zealand - Sjællands Erhvervsakademi and KEA - Københavns Erhvervsakademi. Lene has also held roles in various organizations, including the British High Commission and Den Kongelige Danske Ambassade.
