Mahmoud Nabhan

Mahmoud Nabhan is a seasoned professional in the field of cloud security and information assurance, currently serving as the Global Cloud Security Lead at Detecon International since October 2023. Previously, Mahmoud held the position of Sr. Customer Delivery Architect at Amazon Web Services, focusing on delivering customer solutions in cloud security from December 2021 to October 2023. Mahmoud's extensive experience includes serving as a Security Consulting Manager at Accenture, where leadership in security architecture and cloud security transformation projects was paramount. Early career roles included advisory positions at Saudi Telecom Company, technical management at Etisalat MISP Egypt, and security architecture at multiple telecommunication firms including Etisalat and Orange Business Services. Mahmoud holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Ain Shams University, a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, and a GAWN certification in Information Assurance from SANS.
