Andrew Hitchcock, P.E.

Andrew Hitchcock, P.E. has extensive experience in product design engineering. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Product Design Engineer at Detect. From 2001 to 2021, they worked at Edgewell Personal Care, starting as a Staff Product Design Engineer and eventually becoming a Senior Project Engineer. During this time, they designed plastic and metal parts for high volume automated manufacturing, developed designs based on internal Industrial Design, Marketing requests, and consumer research, and created prototype and production mechanisms, assemblies, parts, packaging, and fixtures. Andrew also managed several direct reports and was influential in selection of prospective new hires and co-ops. In 2000, they worked as a System Integrator at General Dynamics Land Systems. From 1999 to 1998, they worked as a Product Design Co-op at Schick - Warner Lambert.

Andrew Hitchcock, P.E. attained their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Psychology (Dual Major) from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute between 1995 and 2000. In addition, they have obtained certifications from LinkedIn in Time Management: Working from Home (October 2020) and Communicating in Times of Change (June 2018).
