David R.

David R. has extensive experience in the engineering and technology industry. David began their career in 1997 as a Research Engineer at FOI, followed by a role as a Software Designer for Engine Access Ramp at Ericsson AB in 2000. At Ericsson AB, they held several managerial roles, including Manager of LTE Uplink Design, Manager of HSS, Manager of CSCF, and Manager of EDA. In 2011, they took on a Board Member role at Nordiska Ciklidsällskapet, a non-profit association covering ornamental fish keeping in the Nordic countries. In 2016, they became Chairman of Board at the same organization. In 2017, they became Co-Founder of Stockholm Engineering Leadership Meetup and CTO of Baloo Learning. In 2021, they took on a Board Member role at Baloo Learning. Most recently, in 2020, they became VP of Engineering at Detectify, a fast-growing organization supporting a global market for helping companies make their web applications secure.

David R. received their High School degree in Electrical Engineering from Wargentinskolan in 1988. David then attended Försvarshögskolan - Swedish Defence University, where they earned their Technical Army Officer degree in 1990. In 1990, they began studying at Linköping University, where they obtained their M.Sc. in A.P & E.E. in 1994. In 2012, they obtained their Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from the Scrum Alliance.
