Zakarias Juto

Zakarias Juto has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. Zakarias began their career as a Traffic Controller at Trafikverket in 2008, where they were responsible for liaising between infrastructure entrepeneurs, law enforcement, rescue services, and media. Zakarias was also part of a team that worked on the creation of a new computer system for traffic control. In 2013, they took on the role of Lab Instructor for a course in microcomputer engineering at Luleå University of Technology. In 2015, they were a Summer Student at CERN. In 2016, they became a Software Developer at CGI. In 2017, they joined Swedish Customs as a Software Developer, and in 2021, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Detectify. At Swedish Customs, they worked with Java and Angular to create large scale enterprise solutions using modern methodologies, and they were involved with CI/CD using Jenkins and Git, automated unit, component, integration, and contract testing, and practical Machine Learning.

Zakarias Juto obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from Luleå University of Technology between 2011 and 2016. Zakarias has also obtained several certifications from various institutions, including the NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute (in December 2019 and November 2019) and Coursera (in February 2018, December 2017, November 2017, October 2017, and October 2017).
