In 2022, Carlos joined Detection Technology as a Customer Support Engineer. Carlos Mariano then transitioned to the role of Product Manager, providing technical solutions to DT customers and finding the right fit for their applications.

Throughout their career, Carlos has demonstrated their expertise in technical solutions, customer support, inter-team operation, validation, verification, IT support, research, and teaching.

Carlos Mariano Castillo Mateos began their education in 2008 at Liberty High School in Frisco, Texas, USA, where they completed their secondary education. Carlos Mariano then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid from 2010 to 2016. Following this, Carlos continued their studies at Tampere University of Technology from 2016 to 2018, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Information Technology, specializing in Communications Systems and Networking.
