Detection Technology
Kai Zhang has a strong background in program management and technical project management. From 2023 onwards, Kai has been working at Detection Technology as a Program Manager. Prior to that, from 2019 to 2023, Kai was also a Program Manager at 泰利斯集团 (Taolis Group). Before joining Taolis Group, Kai worked at Gemalto M2M from 2016 to 2019 as a Technical Project Program Manager, where they were responsible for wireless module development projects and terminal development projects with third-party ODM vendors. Kai's earlier experience includes roles at Ericsson, where they served as a Development Project Manager from 2008 to 2016, leading the development and release of new radio base station products. Additionally, at Ericsson, Kai worked as a Senior Integration and Verification Engineer from 2008 to 2011, where they were a technical leader in R&D projects.
Kai Zhang completed a Master's degree in Electromagnetic Fields and Microwave Technology from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications between 2005 and 2008. Prior to that, they also earned a Bachelor's degree in Communication Engineering from the same institution, which they attended from 2001 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, Kai Zhang obtained a certification as a Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in June 2021.

Detection Technology Oyj is a Finland-based company providing X-ray imaging products and services for medical, security and industrial applications. It is engaged in design, manufacture and marketing of X-ray imaging components and subsystems, such as detectors, photodiodes, and parts and components. Its security offering includes products for scanning of trains, vehicles and containers, air cargo, baggage and parcels, as well as portable and people scanning. The medical supplies include computer tomography (CT), bone densitometry, mammography, and chest and trauma X-ray. The industrial products comprise detectors for food industry, pharmaceuticals, forestry, automotive, renewable energy, oil and gas, mining, agriculture, recycling and waste sorting, aerospace and defense, and industrial process control.
